On buying a new car, Val from Skennars Head needed protection for this new and valuable asset. Her existing car space was subject to all the elements, open to rain in the wetter months and the hot sun over summer. She contacted Atlas Awnings to find a solution.

Val’s car was very exposed in the car space, open to sun and rain. Getting in and out of the car in wet weather wasn’t nice.
A V-line skillon carport suggested by Geoff, Atlas Awnings Design Consultant, was the ideal structure to suit her needs without the hassle and added expense of Council Approvals.
Using colour bond downpipes and guttering to match the existing motor home, this extension not only looks great but is practical by providing the protection required.
Not only has the carport added protection from the elements, but it has also created a more private front entry to her home. The simple and affordable carport awning has also provided a cooler shade to the concrete driveway, open to the breeze over summer.

The finished carport has provided protection from rain and sun, but also frames and complements the existing structure of the house.
Val was delighted with the result and can now get in and out of her car without getting wet when it is raining or burnt on a too hot to touch interior over the North Coast summer.
