Doug and Leslie from Ballina had a beautiful little alfresco area which was well used. The area was big enough for a lounge and a dining table and was great for outdoor entertaining.
The only problem was, the area was prone to rain blowing in during a summer storm, and also (as is the case with most of the North Coast) open to mosquitoes and flies.
The area was open to sun, rain, and especially mosquitoes and flies.
Although they loved their outdoor patio, they needed a solution that would allow them to stay outside for longer. After talking to Atlas Awnings, Doug and Leslie decided that enclosing the area in All Seasons Patio Panels would give them the desired result.
All Seasons Panels allowed the area to be upgraded with a minimum of building disruption, and gave the option of both breeze, protection and privacy. Midgy mesh enclosed the area, with the sliding vinyl panels creating shelter if the breeze was too strong, or rain started to blow in.
After adding the All Seasons Panels, the area is now protected from all the elements. Because of the way the panels were installed, the usable area is now larger than before.
As you can see from the pictures, the Visiontex paneling provided UV protection for the area, as well as cover from wind and rain. It also created a privacy barrier, to stop outside eyes looking in.
This great little alfresco area can now be used all year round, with protection for the furniture as well as the owners and guests.
